York Regional Police has expanded its online collision reporting service to include motorists involved in collisions across the entire region, effective immediately.
Previously, collisions that occurred in Vaughan or Richmond Hill were ineligible to be reported online. SuspectInvestigators with the York Regional Police #2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau have charged a 44-year-old man in connection with a historic sexual assault that occurred at a church in the City of Richmond Hill.
On Thursday, June 6, 2024, the victim reported they had been sexually assaulted by the suspect on multiple occasions when they were 12. The victim advised these assaults occurred in 2016 and 2017. The suspect had repeatedly touched the victim for a sexual purpose.
