VIDEO - SUSPECTS SOUGHT FOLLOWING SHOOTING IN KING

Investigators with the York Regional Police #1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking three suspects and appealing for witnesses following a shooting in the Township of King.

On Monday, August 19, 2024, at 3:35 a.m., police responded to a residence in the area of Paradise Valley Trail and Anderson Cove trail for shots fired. When officers arrived, multiple shell casings were found in front of the residence.

The house was occupied at the time of the shooting. There were no injuries.

Investigators believe the incident is targeted.

Suspect vehicle:

  • Black, sport utility vehicle
  • Tinted windows
  • Silver rims
  • Silver trim

Suspects:

  • Both suspects wearing hooded jackets or sweaters with the hood up, reflective material on one suspect’s pants, dark shoes
  • Third suspect believed to be driving suspect vehicle

 

Investigators are seeking any additional video surveillance from the area or anyone who may have captured dashcam video on the roadways at that time. Anyone who has not yet spoken to police is asked to please come forward.
