York Regional Police has seized a loaded firearm and charged a woman with multiple offences after a traffic stop in the City of Markham.
On Sunday, December 8, 2024, at approximately 3 a.m., officers were conducting proactive patrol in the area of Warden Avenue and 14th Avenue. Officers conducted a traffic stop and while speaking with the suspect, the officers observed Cannabis readily available to the driver. As a result, a search of the vehicle was conducted and a firearm was located.
