UPDATE - OWNERS OF RECOVERED STOLEN PROPERTY SOUGHT

Posted on Wednesday January 15, 2025

Investigators from the York Regional Police Integrated Property Crime Task Force (IPCTF) have charged five suspects and recovered stolen property as a result of Project Dodge Durango, an investigation into a series of residential break and enters across York Region, Peel Region, and the City of Toronto.

On December 13, 2024, IPCTF executed a search warrant and numerous items of jewellery and valuables were recovered. Investigators have been able to link the accused parties to six break and enters.

A Dropbox folder has been set up with photos of the items that have not yet been claimed. We are asking anyone who was a victim of a residential break and enter between August to December 2024 to please review the photos and contact police if any of the items are yours. There will be a process to verify ownership before collecting any property.

Images of the stolen property can be found HERE.
