Investigators with the #5 District Criminal investigations Bureau are seeking two suspects and appealing for witnesses following shots fired at a business in the City of Markham.
On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, shortly before 2 a.m., an officer conducting mobile patrol in the area of Woodbine Avenue and 14th Avenue heard what sounded like gunshots. Through investigation, it was determined that a commercial premise in the same area had been shot at multiple times. There were no injuries.
Two suspects walked up to the front doors of the premise, brandished firearms and fired multiple times. The suspects fled on foot to a waiting vehicle, described as a white sport utility vehicle, which was last seen traveling southbound on Woodbine Avenue.

The first suspect is described as male, wearing a black face covering, black hooded sweater with a white Puma logo on the front, black jogger-style pants and black shoes.
The second suspect is described as male, wearing a white face covering, black jacket, black hooded sweater, black pants and black shoes.
