Officers in #1 District patrol a population of nearly 200,000 living in Aurora, East Gwillimbury, King and Newmarket, as well as the northern reaches of Whitchurch-Stouffville.

District command staff works closely with the #1 District Community Liaison Committee, a volunteer advisory group consisting of local politicians, health officials, bylaw enforcement officers, high school students and other residents.
