Media relations officers

York Regional Police media relations officers are the public voice of the police service. Media relations officers issue hundreds of media releases each year, in addition to attending community events and the scenes of major incidents to liaise with the media and ensure our community receives accurate and timely information.

Our Media Relations Unit operates from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. For media inquiries, contact us at 1-866-876-5423 ext. 2664 or email mediarelations@yrp.ca.
