It was early morning after Halloween night, 1996, when Pierre Mercon's mother Norma drove to the Original Six sports bar at 14 Oxford St., Richmond Hill. She was planning to pick up her son from a costume party at the now-defunct bar.
He had called to ask her for a ride home after last call at 2 a.m. But when she arrived at the street corner they had arranged, he was nowhere to be found.
Pierre, 21, hasn't been seen since.
Just hours earlier, Norma had dropped Pierre off dressed in green army fatigues, an army poncho, brown work boots, a green wool hat and a long black wig. No piece of his costume, except for his poncho, has ever been found. It was discovered beneath a table inside the bar where Pierre had been sitting.
At the time of his disappearance, Pierre was described as white, 5'11" in height and weighing about 220 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair. He also has a prominent tattoo of Uruguay on his right shoulder.
